Turns out Britain’s bedrooms aren’t quite as steamy as we’d like to think.
When we asked 2,000 people about their sex lives, nearly 1 in 5 said they feel totally mismatched with their partner in the bedroom.
Crazy, right?
Well that’s not all, here’s what else we found:

12.4% of couples aren’t having sex at all

20% said their sex drive is higher than their partner’s

18% said it’s the other way around

1 in 5 described themselves as “not very confident” when it comes to sex
And when we asked why, over half pointed to body image and self-esteem issues and it doesn’t stop there. Clearly, Britain’s bedrooms are due a SERIOUS reboot.
So what’s the problem?
Desire’s there. Energy, confidence, and connection? Not so much.
When we compared how often people wanted sex versus how often they actually had it, the gap was clear: 12.4% aren’t having sex at all - but only 6% said they want zero sex. The rest are craving intimacy 4–10 times a month.
The spark is still there - it’s just buried under stress, low energy, and feeling disconnected from ourselves (and our partners).
Bedroom, Public, or Beyond
89% of people said they only have sex in the bedroom.
